I think the devs put these little gems in for explorers to enjoy. You can see that they enjoyed building the world of Azeroth and didn't just do it because they had to.

Edited because I suddenly feel bad about how many of these titles I have... god I have no life outside of WoW. I was also very lucky to be part of the pug raid for malygos for everyone that hit 80 in the first day/two. It was kind of a mostly guild run as we had IIRC 12 or 13 guildmember's at 80. It was one of the most adrenaline filled boss kills, or moments in life for that matter that I have ever experienced knowing I would get such a rare title and one that no one else could receive once our raid cleared it. It is one of those moments in WoW that people talk about every now and then to their current guild members and its always a fun story to brag about =p. I miss those days so much, but equally happy I had the chance to be there and have an amazing memory of that ventrillo server erupting in virgin yells and cursing once the boss died. was a magical day. I felt so proud of myself and my skill as a wow player/lock having been able to get green fire on day 2 with about 13 attempts and about 15 or 10 ilvl under what the minimum was required. I had the ring that helped a lot though that slowed adds when they had corruption applied. Even so, wasn't a cake walk. Was some of the funnest content ive done ever on the game

I liked the Maw okay. My biggest issue with it was the aesthetic. The visuals are so barren and bland to spend a lot of time there. Otherwise, I agree with all the points there, it was nice to have difficult solo content. Something completely missing from Dragonflight.

about those T2 recolors, my wild guess it is that they're meant for SoD. They did make recolors for T1 and Dungeon sets for SoD.

I love the amount of transmog available in MoP Remix, and it has me thinking.... Some folks are speculating the next remix, if there is one, will be WoD. OK, but imagine Classic Remix!

Hey Hiru, an idea for a video since no one has ever made one about this, not that I could find anyway. Couldn't you make a video about the hardest boss from each expansion? One boss per expansion that was the most difficult for its time? :)

I have thori'dal on my warlock and it would piss my friend off so much cause I would mess around with him and put it in the trade window since he never managed to get his. He managed to finally get it though a year before he stopped playing.

Idk why you didn't talk more about Taeshalach and it's importance... Taeshalach is one of two halves of one sword that was once the main weapon of Sargaras Before he turned evil. The other half is Goribal, the sword in Silithus that started the events of Battle for Azeroth. Together they form Gorshalach, the most powerful sword in warcraft existence forged by the titans and gifted to Sargaras. The warcraft wiki says Gorshalach is non-canon but there is a trinket that drops from Tomb of Sargaras in Legion called Gorshalach's Legacy so the wiki may or may not be true.

I got the green fire before WoD went live but after the prepatch. The prepatch removed the threat drop on gateway and my poor lock wasn't super geared. This is the single hardest thing I ever did in the game.

i will always hate Blizzard for taking my Zin'rokh away. i was a wierdo and had the sword on my ret pally since it was super cool looking. it sat in my bank forever until Cata came along and it was changed into the BoA version. in my bank there was a spot missing and the GMs never gave it back.

I remember getting the first saytr’s spaulders on my rogue during my 2nd run of the emerald nightmare. Didn’t even know they were a possible drop and everyone in the raid was geeking out that I got them. I got taeschalac on my warrior main during my first run of Argus. Good times

Got Scarab Lord only because my friend, who had talked me into playing WoW, was in a good guild. I had only been playing for about 4 months at the time. Its always good to bring a crowd 😂

God I love these, it makes the game feel so much more deep and alive, I never would have noticed all this stuff by myself and it actually makes me more excited to log in and just enjoy the world. Thank you :)

Maan they had so much good quality ideas they were working on back then, and over time everything got abandoned in flavor of meta endgame spam spam max dps lets go more more easy give all powers all class lets go bois its time to farm new expansion raids etc etc

I got arena master in shadowlands when i got 2200 in 2v2 coming back for the game. Not that common now a days and unobtainable for new accs
